Henderson serves up quality at IFEX 2018!

The Henderson Foodservice stand at IFEX 2018 was the ‘star of the show’, bringing the new Henderson Foodservice brand to life, featuring five key zones including a GO Digital section to spotlight and demonstrate the new customer website.

In the Get Fresh zone visitors could sample the sizzling quality of our fresh meat range and speak to our experienced team who take pride in every cut. 

At the heart of the Coffee zone, visitors had the opportunity to speak to our coffee specialists and our partners UCC – providing solutions for everyone from beans to machines! Complementary sampling was provided by our suppliers Aryzta, Amore Di Gelato, Punjana, Clearer Water, Protein Ball Co., Delifrance, Kara Cakes, Cakesmiths and Tayto.

In the Take me Home, Feed me Now zone we provided the inspiration with ideas from our easy to replicate recipes and combinations - all made from ingredients and packaged in products available from Henderson Foodservice. Kepak provided sampling in the shape of delicious takeaway chicken and burgers.

The Suppliers zone provided further tasty sampling opportunities and introduced our visitors to some of the most well-known names in the industry including Bisto, Mission, McCain’s, The Foodfellas, Futura, Rich Sauces, Lion’s Sauces, Lucozade and Britvic.

Theatre was provided in the Country Range zone by the live demos provided by chef Paul Dickson! Country Range is widely regarded as the best own brand in the foodservice industry and we are extremely proud to be the exclusive supplier of the brand in Ireland.

Henderson Foodservice used IFEX 2018 as a platform to roll out its new website in the Go Digital zone. The stylish, vibrant and image led website can be accessed by mobile, tablet or PC devices and has been designed to inspire customers, enable them to more easily navigate the website and order quickly but efficiently online.

Henderson Foodservice managing director Damien Barrett said, ‘Launching at IFEX gave us the opportunity to showcase our new digital platform and maximise its impact with thousands of visitors checking out our stand at the show.

‘Customer response has been excellent, and they love the convenience of being able to place an order within 27 seconds as well as tracking their orders and spend at a time that suits them, twenty-four/seven.

‘In designing the online package, we researched and analysed the ‘best in class’ globally to enable us create a customer friendly and easily accessible digital platform which also helps customers avoid making time-consuming phone calls and emails.’
