  • 0.96 kg Stewing beef meat cubes, trimmed of fat and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 80ml Oil for frying
  • 160 ml Water
  • 3.2 Medium red onions, diced
  • 40g Santa Maria Green Jalapenos diced
  • 40g Santa Maria Red Jalapenos sliced 
  • 80g Mixed bell peppers, diced
  • 400g Red kidney beans
  • 160g Chopped tomatoes
  • 240ml Santa Maria Mexican Hot Sauce
  • 400g Santa Maria Nacho Chips
  • 160 ml Santa Maria Salsa
  • 160 ml Santa Maria Ranch Style Topping 
  • Fresh coriander leaves to garnish

METHOD

  1. Fry the meat in oil until evenly browned and add the water.

  2. Simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until the meat is tender. Pour off the liquid and lightly fry the cooked meat again in a little oil.

  3.  Add the onion, jalapeño and bell peppers and sauté lightly.

  4. Fold in the beans and add the Mexican Hot Sauce.

  5. Serve with Nachos and Ranch Style Topping.

  6. Top with Salsa and garnish with freshly-chopped coriander leaves.
